Officially announced at last evening’s Southern 100 press launch, Steadplan Primus Racing confirmed that two times Manx Grand Prix winner Andy Farrell, will compete under the teams banner at the 2019 Classic TT Races.
Winner of last August’s Lightweight Manx GP encounters, Skerries Farrell has consistently in the past decade contended for Manx GP affiliated podium’s, race victories.
At a glance his stellar event record alongside the aforementioned Lightweight class triumphs from 2018, include banking in total six rostrum finishes, overall 15 top ten finishes, plus becoming a member of the prestigious ‘Tommy Club’.
Although a newcomer to the Classic TT scene, his nigh on ten years of Mountain Course experience, will stand him in good stead for this August’s competition in the four lap yesteryear Superbike race, piloting the Steadplan Primus ZXR 750 Kawasaki.
Outside of action on the fabled, mythical, unparalleled Mountain Course, the hugely popular, highly respected Farrell is also set to pilot the Steadplan Primus Kawasaki at the Blackford’s Pre TT Classic Road Races, which will mark his maiden outing on the Castletown based Billown course.
