Isuzu's 7.5t 'forward' models are renowned for their superior payload and performance, and even with the Euro VI additions the 'Forward' can still carry much more than its European competitors. It’s great to drive too, with the slim cab and folding mirrors providing a safe passage through tight spots, while the ergonomic interior, great visibility and excellent manoeuvrability make every journey pleasant. Available with either Isuzu’s Easyshift or manual gearboxes, matched to a 5.2 litre 190PS power unit, this model has a choice of cabs depending on your type of operation: a standard 3-man day cab or a capacious, factory fitted 7 man crew cab. The 7.5t ‘forward’ is a popular with customers in small, niche businesses as well as large blue-chip, household-name fleets.
With the Euro VI regulations in mind, Isuzu introduced a new vehicle model at this, our most popular weight category of vehicle. With a lighter 3.0 litre 150 PS engine to keep its overall weight to a minimum, plus excellent handling and fuel efficiency, the Isuzu ‘Urban’ is designed for payload-critical, stop-start, local distribution operations. There is no 7-man crew cab option on this model; the ‘Urban’ benefits from the 3-man day cab with folding mirrors, so it’s ideal for nipping through the town and tucking into those smaller spaces. The ‘Urban’ doesn’t shy away from the tough jobs, though; it has a body/payload potential of 4880kgs, and has the same designed gross train weight as the ‘forward’ – 11000kgs.
All trucks in the Isuzu range offer the same standard features - including many items that normally appear as 'optional extras' on other manufacturers' vehicles.
